About Me

My photo
Well I suppose I am or at least used to be like everybody else, sort of. Used to do the thing that society wants us to, The Rat Race. For years I dreamt about exotic locations after watching the travel channel, thinking that some day I would love to go their or do that. Until the beginning of this year (5 Jan 2010), it was not planned or a new year’s resolution, it just happened. I cancelled all my TV subscriptions and pulled out all cables, literally threw them away. After this I drove down to a local scuba centre and signed up for my first scuba course. Let us fast forward to today, I have quite my job sold my vehicle. What now? TRAVEL BABY, SCUBA TRAVEL!!!

I was right...it was a beautiful day, slow but beautiful.

Graham left with Obada to go and help Samer to locate the boats anchor that he lost during the storm; this meant that Pedro and I waited at the village for potential customers. We waited the entire day and when nobody arrived by 14:00 we decided to go to Aqaba for the night. So we quickly ordered lunch and planned to leave straight after, this did not work as planned. Around 14:30 we heard that customers are on the way, exited to go diving we started getting our kit ready.

As our American customers arrived we sorted out all the paper work and got them kitted up as we did not have much time. Why would this be, the sun sets at about 16:20 and we are not allowed to be in the water after sunset unless it has been pre arranged.

There is always time for a quick pose just before we make our way to the exit point.

Why do they look so happy, they had a nice dive and saw a beautiful sunset as they stuck their heads out the water and of cause they have a worm cup of tea.

It seems like all the gremlins in the internet has not been sorted out, I could not upload anything last night. L
