About Me

My photo
Well I suppose I am or at least used to be like everybody else, sort of. Used to do the thing that society wants us to, The Rat Race. For years I dreamt about exotic locations after watching the travel channel, thinking that some day I would love to go their or do that. Until the beginning of this year (5 Jan 2010), it was not planned or a new year’s resolution, it just happened. I cancelled all my TV subscriptions and pulled out all cables, literally threw them away. After this I drove down to a local scuba centre and signed up for my first scuba course. Let us fast forward to today, I have quite my job sold my vehicle. What now? TRAVEL BABY, SCUBA TRAVEL!!!

Nothing happened...

As you know by now nothing happened. Early morning Graham opted to go to Aqaba and Pedro and I stayed in the hope that customers might show up. To kill time I did some steel work at the centre and we washed the floors in the bunker.

Having absolutely nothing to do it gave me time to catch up on the blog as circumstances did not allow me to do blogs for 3 days.

So I have done 3 posts earlier today, make sure to check them out.

Now for the grand finale, master chef Graham prepares a feast for us upon his return from Aqaba.

We had spuds, sweet potato, carrots and green beans glazed in honey with fresh tomato and lemon.

Then there was red and green pepper with baby marrow in tomato puree and dead cow cubes (beef) cooked in orange juice.

Of course there have to be beer with a good meal like this.

This is the final result, you can see that I will be a bad waiter as there spillage on the side of the plate. This does not affect the taste, wow thanks Graham it is the best meal since I have been in Jordan.
